development. The Philippines is vulnerable to climate change. Natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and typhoons that destroying properties, livelihoods and infrastructure. Moreover, Philippines also experiencing poverty, inequality and climate change which problems existing its vulnerabilities. Recurring disasters and calamities that that nation faces have made Filipinos resilient. But, when its continuous disasters and calamities can be set back the economic progress of Philippines have made.
With the implementation of the Philippines government approved the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act (PDRRM) in 2010 , a significant towards strengthening the government capacities support communities in mitigating disaster risk. To aimed the improve disaster preparedness mechanisms and emergency relief efforts to empowered local governments to respond effectively to disasters. They improved the capacity of local governments to respond and cope with the impact of disasters that is key to ensure that disaster reduction plans are effective, are community-owned and, in the long term, save lives.
